the DESERT POWER WAGON REVOLUTION.
The Dodge 3/4-ton, 4x4 WC-53 was the Field Sedan / Carryall version of the WC51/52 Weapons Carrier Truck.
The WC-53 Special command field sedan was produced in smaller numbers than the other Dodge 3/4-ton trucks due to its specialized role. It was intended for use by staff officers and formation commanders.
1942
The Dodge Power Wagon, produced from 1945 to early 1956, was the civilian adaptation of Dodge’s rugged WC military trucks.
As the first mass-produced 4x4 truck for the general public, it featured a reliable 230-cubic-inch flathead six-cylinder engine and exceptional off-road capability. Designed for farmers, ranchers, and industry, the Power Wagon became a legendary workhorse and a pioneer in off-road vehicle history.

DRIVER FEEDBACK
The communication and professionalism throughout the entire build process, from my initial telephone consultation with Aaron, to the time he personally delivered it in their own tractor trailer, was 100% spot-on. It could only be outdone by the craftsmanship of the final product — my Desert Power Wagon is absolutely gorgeous. Thanks guys!

Though I could drone on and wax poetic for hours about all the impressive details that have gone into this Power Wagon build, what really sets MY ’52 specimen apart from other trucks is DESERT POWER WAGON'S ability to modernize just about every aspect of the trucks’ performance and user experience without compromising its looks or durability.

I worked closely with the entire DPW team over the last 7 months to complete my dream truck — a one-of-a-kind Hellcat-powered Desert Power Wagon. Their knowledge of various fabrication techniques and the skills to implement them were second to none and my truck turned out perfect. It's the envy of all of my buddies!
