Desert Power Wagons was the first truck to EVER to meet the criteria and be invited to this prestigious event since the inception in 2004. We were very honored to be included, as this car show is regarded as the embodiment of luxury, class, and style. Desert Power Wagons showcased our 1951 Dodge Power Wagon ‘MegaCab’ and once again we drew large crowds and many admirers. We look forward to next year!!
Hello Friends! My apologies for not writing sooner…as we’ve been busy building trucks!
Let’s talk about Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale “The World’s Largest Collector Car Auction”, January 12-20, 2019.
Desert Power Wagons was the Belle of the Ball – Toast of the Town – Prom Queen – Homerun Hitter – Cream of the Crop – King of the Hill. Need I say more?
Our booth had a prime location and was packed all day long. We had the time of our lives talking to the thousands of wonderful people that were in awe of our spectacular one of a kind trucks.
We showcased four of our builds –1949 Dodge Power Wagon, aka “Black Beauty” made its final appearance before being shipped to the new owner in Ohio. The proud owner couldn’t wipe the smile from his face when he saw it for the first time. It was incredibly gratifying for us to see him so happy and we undoubtedly exceeded his expectations.
1951 Dodge Power Wagon MEGACAB was an unprecedented sensation! The first first edition MEGACAB with British Racing Green with silver fleck exterior. The luxurious extended cab with Butterscotch interior impressed the masses. You had to see it to believe her extraordinary beauty and will soon be seen driving around LA.
We also had a 1942 WC26 and 1942 WC53 on display. We revealed the talents of our fabricators and exhibited the metal work that goes into a Desert Power Wagon build. Our paint and body team are true artists and incredible craftsman to be able to construct a two door into a four door, designing symmetrical windows and creating a new back door that will open on hydraulics like a 2019 Cadillac. These are very rare vehicles as there are less than a hundred left in the world. They are an impressive build and imagine General Eisenhower using these as his Command Car in WW II. It’s an incredible piece of history and an homage to days gone by. We’re working hard at Desert Power Wagons and we can assure you the best is yet to come! – Christina
